Beijing, China (178) - When being interviewed by foreign media, Activation's CEO Bobby Kotick hints that Call of Duty Online's Chinese version and American version have many differences. One of the biggest one is the business model, in China, COD OL will adopt F2P with item mall.

According to Bobby Kotick, Activation is investing tens of millions of dollars on COD OL's Chinese version. Activation together with Tencent published COD OL last night, and Tencent will become COD OL's only Chinese agency. He hints that Activation has already established a studio in Shanghai to "completely" revamp (localize) the game.

Kotick also says the reason why Activation chooses Tencent as COD OL's Chinese agency is because the great success of Tencent's Cross Fire in China mainland market of gaming.
