Beijing, China (178) - The well-known game platform of multiplayer Steam has partnered with Chinese online shopping platform Alipay last week. A path of overseas gaming purchasing has been paved for Chinese gamers. In order to make the purchasing process more convenient, even the credit card using was cancelled by official. Now Chinese gamers can only pay RMB to buy games according toan in-house currency converter.

It's been a week since the partership worked in China, many discussions are emerging on the internet, one of the most believable version is that this is the "prelude" for Dota 2's China launch. Months ago, there used to be a server set in Shanghai for Dota2's beta. Meanwhile many game companies are fighting for the big title's license for a really long time, and various rumors about that have been going wide. But there hasn't been a clear confirmation yet.
