it's been long since The9 released its apocalyptic title Era Zero few months ago. Finally the game is heading to 1st closed beta in this summer with no exact date so far. The game is developed by a Shen Zhen based studio under The9's leadership, and packed with apocalyptic backdrops after 2012. For now, all The9 has done is to re-create the game's logo, and recently issue a fuzzy date of the game's beta test, and several manuscripts. More details are being unveiled in future.

The prototype of the game was firstly shown off at TonyPark's personal blog, developed in a Shenzhen based studio. Different from all the myth, immortals and Chinese fantasy products in market, Era Zero is brought a steampunk-like and apocalyptic elements by utilizing Camera engine, which is developed by the company as well.

Now the world you've been watching is really fatastic with many open-mind designs and finally getting rid off the typical immortal-like stuff. To hail to the steampunk, there are both western magics and electrification cities and vehicles, which are one of the features in the game named "the temporary mechanical gears".

"The temporary mechanical gears" can offer players a temporary experience by using mechanical weapons, vehicles and even mobile suits, for a short time. For the magic part, players can summon some supernature beings to perform a "combination" to improve the combat skills. Take a first look on these screenshots.
